Michael has held leadership roles with respected companies including Reliance Fire Protection, Judd Fire Protection, NFP, and Spectrum Fire Protection, where he advanced through positions ranging from field employee and inspector to estimator, project manager, service manager, vice president, and operations manager. His background gives him a rare full-spectrum understanding of the fire protection industry, from hands-on fieldwork to team leadership, budgeting, scheduling, customer relations, and contract management.
At Reliance Fire Protection, Michael served as Inspections Manager for DC and NIH Site Team Lead, where he managed inspection teams, coordinated campus-wide inspection and testing schedules, oversaw emergency service response, attended weekly shutdown and fire protection meetings, maintained strong communication with government representatives, and ensured high-quality service across a complex federal environment.
Most recently, Michael served as Account Manager with M.C. Dean, Inc., leading fire protection services for the NIH contract. In that role, he was responsible for the overall leadership, coordination, and execution of fire protection and life safety services across the NIH campus. He served as the primary point of contact between the contractor and NIH stakeholders and was accountable for contract compliance, operational performance, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction. He also ensured that inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, and corrective actions for fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, fire pumps, special hazard suppression systems, kitchen hood suppression systems, and portable extinguishers were performed in full accordance with NFPA standards, NIH policies, federal regulations, and contract requirements.
Michael’s experience is backed by factory training, suppression system certifications, extensive NFPA knowledge, and a long-standing dedication to protecting people, property, and facilities through reliable, code-compliant fire protection services. At Platinum Fire Services, he brings that same commitment to every client, delivering trusted expertise, responsive service, and practical solutions built on decades of real-world experience.
